Innovative Fitness is excited to offer Team training. It seems so new, yet this type of fitness has been around for over 150 years. How do we explain it? Many people strength train with weights while others do cardio or aerobics – somewhere in between is our Team training. Now you get the benefits of both. Your body will get stronger, your cardiovascular fitness will improve and you will burn fat and watch your body change.
Team training, with certified coaches, uses scientifically designed programs and tools including kettlebells, sandbags, ropes, medicine balls, TRX’s, Vipr’s and other fun, different equipment. This type of training is a great way to shake things up and gives you a full body workout, burns a ton of calories and gets your metabolism going.
We define team training as a large group of 6 or more people attending a class at the same time. This program offers a lower price point and some people prefer to too workout out in team atmosphere.
There three different types of Team training classes. Each offer something fun, unique and different!
Total body strength our group version of strength training workouts and is designed to be a alternative for those members who do not participate in our private and semi-private strength coaching. This is a full body workout which includes foam rolling, stretching, corrective exercises, dynamic warm-up, power development, core and full body strength training designed to maximize lean body mass and calorie expenditure and to get the most out of your workout.
Afterburn: Our cardio workout we recommend for Private, Semi-private and Team training members to do on opposite days of their strength training days. These classes are primarily made up of the anaerobic metabolic conditioning component for the entire workout incorporating both core and power within these exercises. We offer Afterburn because interval training is a superior choice of cardio training for our clientele who are looking to lose fat. These classes are time based using circuits of full body movements moving in multiple planes of motions increasing the heart rate for the work interval and then allowing recovery between exercises. Our clients love having this class as a alternative to doing cardio on a stationary machine and it gives them a workout that is fun and effective with multiple benefits.
